What Causes Delayed Periods While On Birth Control Pills?

I am on birth control and have been taking it regularly for years. I got my prescription for my new packs late and was not able to start my pack on Sunday and I now have them and it s 4 days late. Do I start them today or do I wait until Sunday to start?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
It's already late for starting the pills.. so you better start the pills right now.... do not wait for Sunday.
Only precaution to be taken is to use barrier contraceptive for a week from the day you start the pills
