Hello and welcome to HCM.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

Typhoid infection is less likely to cause delay in periods.
It is normal for period to variate between 7-9 days of expected date of period(menses).
Delay is when the periods donot come beyond this frame of 7-9 days.
Causes of delay of menses may be pregnancy/stress/obesity/overexertion.
Other common medical causes can be thyroid disorders or PCOD.
I advise you to consult a gynaecologist as proper medical history will be required.Investigations like urine pregnancy test(if married),USG pelvis, thyroid profile will be needed.
Practice regular yoga, meditation and have healthy diet for destressing yourself.

Hope I answered your query.
Any further query is welcome.
