General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, i do care for your concern.
The delayed period is the most common cause as it may be caused due to stress fever and many other reasons.
pregnancy can be ruled out only by doing a urine pregnancy test.
your fibroid has nothing to cause alteration in period but cystic ovary has.
I would advise
need not panic as this is a general phenomenon, but if the condition persist get evaluated for cystic ovary.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Thank you.
