What Causes Delayed Periods With Light Vaginal Spotting?

i have pcos and i have been going to a doctor but last month i got my period on the 2nd and on the 29th. i contacted her and she said that my period is regulating. so if it regular i was suppose to have a period on the 26th of this month and today is the 28th and i went to the bathroom and im seeing a light pink colour and it has not gotten heavey from since morning. this is the first time that this is happening. can some one help me?
