What Causes Delayed Periods?

hi i just wanted to ask something probably stupid but i just need reassurance. my period is late a couple of weeks, and it tends to move around every month. i have not had sex with any male but i do masturbate and recently i have been doing it a lot. i cant be pregnant right?

Hello!
It takes absolutely two cells from different persons of different sexes to conception and pregnancy.
Pregnancy happens when man semen is ejaculated inside the vagina during sex and passes travels through the cervix inside the uterus and then fallopian tubes, to meet and inseminate the egg. Another way to get pregnant is the artificial insemination, where the cellular process is conducted in a lab, and then te inseminated egg is placed by medical tools and proffesionals in the uterus.
If you haven't been subject of any of these two activities, it is impossible for you to be pregnant.
