What Causes Delayed Periods?

Hi,my period date was 11 th aug,2016.but I am not get the period till now.we are waiting for conceive.but I took home pregnancy test on 2 nd oct it was negative.my doctor suggested to take regestron 5 mg per day one for 7 days.if I am pegnent this tablets effect to pregnancy and baby

Hi,

I feel you are referring to last period date as August 2018¬ 2016. Whatever it is, the delay in your periods is either 7 months or more than 3years.

Pregnancy can be ruled out/confirmed by blood HCG test done in laboratory /ish abdomen.

Once pregnancy is ruled out you can safely take tablet Registrone. This should induce your period.

If you are on childbearing age you should get investigated for delayed periods. It can be severe weakness or infection/hormonal imbalance/uterine problems like a fibroid. Please consult a gynecologist.
