Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
It s been 76 days since my last period. I took two pt last month and they both came out negative. My period can be irregular, but this past year, it has been pretty regular. It came on every month and I could tell when it was almost time for it to start. Sept is the last time I had a period and it s now December. Could there be a chance that I AM pregnant despite the negative pt??
Description: Urine pregnancy test are 97% accurate and since you have done it twice makes it very less likely for you to be pregnant. Also by now symptoms of pregnancy should have started appearing. One of the most common medical causes of missed periods without pregnancy is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). You should consult a gynaecologist for that. Apart from that you may also have some other hormonal imbalance which is causing delayed periods. I would recommend you a gynaecological consultation.
Hope this was helpful and do let me know if you have any further queries.
Regards, Dr Akash Kumar
