What Causes Delayed Periods?

I expected to get period since 3rd this month.. My period is late..doctor confirmed that I am not pregnant.. Gave me norethindrone acetate tablets two tablets for five days.. My worry is what if I will get pregnant within this five days?? Will my pregnancy be safe o??

u can't be get pregnant in Dose 5 days of medications.. as doctor rule out that you are not pregnant.. n those medications are given for periods to come.. you can get pregnant only in your fertile days of menstrual cycle...and u will not get pregnant definitely during this 5 days of medications
