Hello,
Thanks for your query on HCM
"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -
1)Do a clinical examination by your treating Doctor[Endocrinologist] and discuss
hormone replacement therapy if required.
2)Do take one
multivitamin caps regularly.
You can do diet changes for
hypothyroidism like this-
1)Take foods high in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids such as leafy green vegetables, salmon, nuts, seeds, and shrimp etc
2)Try to drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. Water and green tea can be sipped on in between meals to prevent
dehydration. Take Iodine rich foods such as seaweed and algae and foods such as broccoli, cauliflower, soy, beans, and spinach can actually slow down the functioning of the thyroid, so they should be eaten in small quantities.
Try to avoid artificial sweeteners, caffeine, dairy and alcohol when on a diet for hypothyroidism.
3)Try to eat a healthy balanced meal that provides you with all the necessary nutrients,
vitamins and minerals required to function optimally and do regular walk in the morning and evening.
Hope that helps
