What Causes Dent And Severe Pain In Between The Toes?

Hi, my dad has a hole in between his two middle toes. It has been there for a few months now it is causing him agonising pain and swelling to the foot. He has been on several courses of antibiotics and is not diabetic. He has been washing it daily in a brown substance, iodine I think but that is not helping. Any ideas?

He might be suffering from a fungal infection or decrease in blood circulation. Without seeing it no physician can comment in that. Kindly seek help from your nearest GP.
