Hello,
If the injury is mild, small and superficial it will slowly heal by itself. No treatment is required. In cases of moderate injury, the dent may be due to depressed
fracture. It can be larger and deeper and may require treatment. Get clinically examined by a GP. Get X-ray, CT,
MRI, done. It will be treated with wound care, antibiotics, and observation. In cases of severe injury, the dent may be deep and associated with
brain injury.
The treating doctor may do a few more tests like Bone scan or PET scan if required. Since you are feeling dizzy. Get clinically examined and get done all tests and investigation to rule out
internal bleeding or any other complication that may need medical attention. Apply ointment Thrombophob on the area of the dent to disperse any blood clot under the skin. You are advised not to drive or do any heavy work because you are feeling dizzy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
