What Causes Depression And Excessive Sweating While On Treatment For Grave S Disease?

My partner has Graves disease and is currently being treated for that but his GP lowered his medication intake and did so without a blood test. Since then, about two months ago, he has been suffering with flu like symptoms, depression (which seems to be getting worse) and often, he smells like yeast, especially when he sweats I smell It more. I think he sweats more than most people as a side effect of his disease but I wondered why he smells of yeast and if it is something to worry about. He doesn t trust his GP and his depression means he hardly has any motivation to do anything productive to help himself or seek help. I appreciate any advice!

Hello,

Consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated.

Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
