Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my mother is 75 and has been diagnosed with depression. she has tried Celexa. We stopped that as it did not seem to be working. She has been on Prozac for 2 weeks and is still complaining about being drowsy. Drowsiness has been constant. Even before being diagnosed. She does not take naps. She also has complained about her jaw being tight - hard to talk. She has had all kinds of tests which have all come out good, so depression seems to be what she has. The hard time talking is my question - what can be done about this?
