What Causes Detection Of Bile Salt In Urine While On Eptoin?
I have been on gardenal 60 mg and eptoin 100 mg for over 25 years. prior to this I was on lower dosages of gardenal. recently, i underwent a health checkup wherein I was told that the bile discharge in urine was above normal by close to double the normal range. do you think stopping eptoin could reverse the damage

please get a complete liver function test done
more than eptoin gardinal may be the one which effect liver more but since you have been using it for so long its most unlikely either of them are
in absence of a complete liver function test results it is difficult to comment
however there are newer anti epileptic drugs available consult your neurologist and see if it is advisable to change.
