Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Development Of Brown Crusts Around Navel?
I've been having problems lately with a brown crust around my belly button. It's also red and is excreting a white fluid. I've had this problem before and in the end a big clump of dog hair came out, could it be the same problem again? And if so how can I get it out?
Hi, i do care for your concern. the history said by you suggest more of an infection. the infection may be caused by pathogens of any foreign substance causing inflammation. I would advise to consult your physician and get examined if any foreign substance present, and if so get removed under aseptic condition. taking a course of antibiotic such as cefexime along with antacid would help a lot. local cleaning with mild antiseptic solution would add to the help. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
