hi there, why would my skin be gradually becoming covered in pale pigmentation ?Since last summer I have noticed the pigment which started on the legs and arm but gradually covering my body.I am 64 and am wondering if this is age related or more serious
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have development of pale pigmentation on legs and body . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query infection , hormone changes , allergy or fungal infection . I would suggest you to maintain personal hygiene , apply cream containing kojic acid and vitamin c twice a day and also apply over the counter anti fungal cream before going to sleep . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , skin sample test and allergy test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressnats along with conticosteroid ointment and antibiotics .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
