i am a known diabetic mellitus . my RBS was unstable 3-4 months ago. after taking regular oral hypoglycemics, it became stable. now i am on regular oral hypoglycemics. MY age is 52. today my RBS is 49 mg% . i am rechecking after a month. wat to do?
Hello there, Your blood sugars are quite low and its not good to have such low sugars (You need to revisit your diabetologist as soon as possible who can review your medicines as change the dosing if required as your sugars are going lower than normal which is more harmful to you. If you get low sugars without symptoms it means that you need to check your sugars more often, and when it is below 70 take remedial measures like taking some sweet or sugary juices. Please do carry an ID and address card with you at all times and also a sugar candy in your pocket. Hope this helps. Take care.
