What Causes Diarrhea, Abdominal Bloating And Nausea When Diagnosed With Pancreatitis?

I was diagnosed with Pancreatitis as a result of an inflamed gallbladder. My gall bladder was removed over 2 years ago. I recently had symptoms of nausea,vomiting, fatigued and with a mild fever. The vomiting subsided then I had diarrhea...drank a lot of water, ate very little, rested, get better, regular bowel movement. Now I m experiencing abdominal bloating, mild discomfort and some nausea. Should I be checked for Pancreatitis?

Hello,

Pancreatitis is unlikely.

However, it is better to consult a gastroenterologist and plan for an ultrasound scan.

As of now drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Antimotility drugs can be tried if needed.
