What Causes Diarrhea After An Abortion?

Hi, so I just had an local abortion yesterday....I just went to the bathroom and had diarrhea and I felt a slash from the toilet water hit my vaginal area I did shower afterwards but I still feel grossed out is it possible I can geta infection from that

Understand your concern
You do not mention the type of abortion. Medical or surgical?
Diarrhea is common side effect of mifepristone & misoprostol abortion pill.
If you have take more dose then high chance of side effects.
It will decrease in 2-3 days as drugs effect will decrease.
Take following advice:
Drink plenty of waters, Take oral rehydration solution to maintain hydration.
Take light diet, maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
For abortion: take analgesic and antibiotic and post abortion USG after 14 days to confirm incomplete abortion.
If diarrhea will not relieve after 3 days then take antibiotic like ornidazole plus ofloxacin.
