Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain eating poultry that is not cooked properly can cause diarrhea that can be secondary to stomach infection as the chicken could be infected with bacteria, viruses or parasites..
It can also be polluted with chemicals and toxins..
I would suggest you that you should never consume uncooked flesh as it can cause food poisoning..
I would suggest you to consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinicial evaluation and investigations like blood tests, colonoscopy and stool culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case of bacterial infection antibiotics can be given..
In case of parasitic infection anti parasitic medications like Albendazole can be advised..
Along with it fluid replacement therapy by drinking oral rehydration solution, plenty of other fluids and a soft diet with taking more of bananas and cereals can help..
You can also take Loperamide to control loose motions..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your husband have symptoms of diarrhea after consumption of uncooked meat which seems to be due to acute gastroenteritis and food poisoning which is leading to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry. You should start treatment with combination of fluoroquinolones and ornidazole. You should get intravenous fluid administration as well. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate yourself. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. You can take banana on daily basis and light food. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment after prescription. Avoid taking Domperidone. You should avoid taking dairy products in excess.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
