What Causes Diarrhea After Falling In A 1 Year Old?

My 1 year old son fell from our bed on Sunday. I picked him up immediately, he cried for a couple of minutes, as I walked him up and down the room. After a couple of minutes, I sat back on the bed and nursed him, he was beginning to fall asleep when his had a bowel movement, but it sounded like diarrhea! I was alarmed then, but now is Friday and he has been having diarrhea ever since! I called his doctor and they recommended to keep him hydrated and also give him some probiotics in his milk and/or yogurt. The doctor s office thinks the diarrhea may be due to he taking antibiotics back in January! I am not sure at this point what the cause of the diarrhea is, but I am concerned because he has barely had anything to eat and he is very fussy! What should I do?!! And could he falling off the bed had anything to do with his diarrhea?!

Falling off the bed does not have anything to do with diarrhea. I would suggest to check on his diet. Avoid any sorts of spicy food or outside food. Include fruits like banana in his diet. Yes, keep him hydrated at all times. Include yoghurt, apples in his diet.
