What Causes Diarrhea After Giving Paracetamol And Moxikind To The Child?

Hello...my son had ear ache and fever..Dr suggested to give him ear drop,paracetamol and ibrofen oral syrup and antibiotic moxikind .cv...so I started to this medicine....now mns..yesterday night on words he did potty 4 times..started loosemotion....pls give suggestion sir

I can understand your concern. The diarrhea your son is havung is because of the side effect of the antibiotic Moxikind, and not due to stomach infection.

As soin as the medicine will stop and the drug will be eliminated from the system, the diarrhea will stop. It is necessary to complete the antibiotic course to completely remove the infection from ear.

Antibiotics change the normal bacterial flora of the stmach that help in digestion. Thus, due to indigestion, patient suffers from diarrhea. Give your son lots of curd, plent of fluids and light diet till the course of antibiotics is complete.
