What Causes Diarrhea Along With Abdominal Cramps And Vomiting?

Hi, I just started throwing up and having extremely watery diarrhea and belly cramps for about 4 hours. It doesn t seem to be getting better. I was taking care of two kids with the stomach bug, but nothing like what I m experiencing. My stool seems to have a pink tinge. I m concerned about hydrating since nothing will stay down or in. When is it appropriate to go to the hospital for proper fluids?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have diarrhea along with abdominal cramps and vomiting . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like muscle strain , panic attack , drug overdose , gastroenteritis , side effect of medicine or allergic reaction . I would suggest you to drink plenty of water , take anti histamine like bendryl twice a day , avoid food like nuts and seas food and consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Also eat probiotics food like yogurt . Doctor may order blood test , check vital and take history . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , analgesic , anti inflammatory , omeprazole , anti emetic drug . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist or cardiologist if he/she find problem to be related with ear or heart respectively.
