What Causes Diarrhea Along With Black And Red Colored Stools?

Hi My son is of 1yr 11 months old. He got fever yesterday of 102.9F. He was going loose motion from yesterday. Till yesterday his motion was in yellow colour and from today his loose motion is in black and red colour. Please guide what might be the problem and what are precautions and medication to go with.

First you need to go for microscopic and culture examination of stool sample. Your sone have condition called dysentery.
It might be bacterial or parasitic amoebic infection. So after diagnosing this treatment can be decide. It is very important to differentiate omoebic dysentery from bacillary dysentery.
