Hello,
Diarrhea along with burping and a foul-smelling odor could indicate an underlying
gastrointestinal infection or inflammation. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids, avoid dehydration.
Here are some possible causes of your symptoms:
1. Gastroenteritis: This is a viral or bacterial infection that causes inflammation of the stomach and intestines. Symptoms include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and
stomach cramps.
2. Food poisoning: Eating contaminated food can cause diarrhea, vomiting, and stomach cramps. Symptoms usually begin within a few hours of eating the contaminated food.
3.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): This is a chronic condition that affects the large intestine. Symptoms of IBS are diarrhea or constipation,
abdominal pain, and bloating.
4. Acid reflux: Acid reflux occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus. Symptoms include heartburn, regurgitation, and burping.
5. Gallbladder disease: Gallstones or inflammation of the gallbladder can cause diarrhea and abdominal pain, which may be worsened by fatty foods.
To me you should follow BRAT diet (banana, rice, apple sauce, toast), drink plenty of fluids, take Tasectan or Pepto Bismol and probiotics. If still the same should see your
medical doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
