General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
In my opinion the headache is most likely due to sinusitis.
Amoxyclav works well in sinusitis (usually).
Once the sinusitis gets cured, the headache should settle down.
Many people do experience increased frequency of bowel movements while on amoxyclav.
It is advisable to take a probiotic along with the antibiotic.
However if the bowel movement does not settle down,a change of antibiotic may be needed.
Also blood pressure should be checked to see if high blood pressure is contributing to the headache.
