HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The green color of stool is related to the bile present in the stool. Normally by the time the stool is ready to come out at the anus, the bile has changed color and the stool is brown

If a persons is having frequent bowel movements , however, the bile does not get the chance to change as it passes through the intestines so the stool appears green.

When the diarrhea stops, her stool should go back to its normal color.

Treatment would involve : (1) holding off solid food till there is a 4 hour window with no symptoms
When the 4 hours pass, can start with small amounts of solid food

(2)use liquids such as gatorade, poweraid or oral rehydration solutions

(3)probiotics

I hope this helps
