What Causes Diarrhea And Abdominal Cramps After Using Otocerum Ear Drops?
Hi I have been given otocerum ear drops, due to a build up of wax in my left ear. Since using these drops I have developed loose bowels, and cramps in my stomach. Is this a side effect of otocerum or is it from something else. Also when administrating the drops into my ear there is a burning sensation, is this normal? Thank you

The ear drops are local area therapy and there is no issue of systemic absorption of the drops to cause abdomen cramps and diarrhea.
It may be associated with medications intake as antibiotic or pain killers which may hamper the issue as mentioned in the query.
