Hi I am 67 y.o. I am a type 2 diabetic controlled with diet, insulin and pills. In July I started having loose stools and abdominal pain, I also have abdominal bloat. I had all the abd. tests from top to bottom. I also have several abnormal blood abnormalities High Vtm D, low calcium, and I have been anemic for years. I have been DX with Barrett s esophagas. I had a pancreatic CT with contrast and it showed calcium stones. The GNP said that some time in the past I had a pancreatic embarrassment. I was in a serious car wreak 7 years ago when our VW bug was crushed by a loaded logging truck. My husband was killed instantly and I was pinned in the car. The seatbelt held me in place seriously brusing my top (R) shoulder and (L) lower abd. The diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism has also been made but the endocrinologist DNP. doesn t seem to be concerned. I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia for over 20 yrs. Even now many of the regular MD s I see try to convince me that it is all in my head!!! I am seeing a very competent PhD weekly and he has helped me realize that I am really ill.
