Okay, thanks. I had a colonoscopy on Wednesday. I continue to have diarrhea and my stool is very dark green, almost black. I thought I might just be passing the purge liquid but this is going on for 2 days now. Should I worry? Should I call my doctor?
Diarrhea mostly happens because of gastrointestinal infections or some times due to some chronic bowel disease. Get stool examination done to find out whether it contains blood or not to rule serous illness which includes gastrointestinal bleeding and to find out if there is any infective pathology.
Get It investigated and don't ignore
Thanks
