General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Diarrhea along with blood could be a inflammatory bowel disease, polyp in colon, proctitis, dysentery due to infection.
I would suggest to consult the gastroenterologist and undergo following investigations:
Rectal examination, proctoscopy, sigmoidoscopy/colonoscopy, fecal calprotectin test and stool microscopic and culture.
Meanwhile take following advises
Take soft diet like rice, banana, curd, toast and apple sauce along with iron supplements.
Take oral rehydration solution to maintain hydration
Capsule sporolac.
Other treatment will depend on the specific cause.
Hope this may help you
