What Causes Diarrhea And Blood In Stool?
good morning: my daughter has been having diarrhea possibly related to bacteria since sun night...she swam in a triatholon this past weekend. She is 29 years old, they prescribed cipro (which eliminated low grade fever), but diarrhea continues now with bloody stools. Blood work has been done and a stool sample is being done..in meantime its weekend and this is still going on..everything goes through her...wouold you recommend lomotil or even a low dose of predisone for a few days to get bowel to calm down inmeantime until they have the test results? Take tab cipro continue just five day along with tab metranidazole in bd and take boil watrr keep hand clean befor eat
