I got cryptosporidium from a minor patient in July of this year and sometimes has diarrhea up to 20 to 25 per day at the worst. I still have had some tiredness in the evenings. After being on Alina I had no rash but couldn t stop scratching my skin to relieve the generalized itching. I also ended up with very puffy feet which I don,t understand. Ideas.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you need to have fresh serum electrolytes and renal functions done as with this much amount and frequency of stool loss of important electrolytes and water deficiencies can cause fatigue and lethargy. A Gastroenterologist review and colonoscopy as well as stool cultures and sensitivity and stool analysis may also be needed to review the treatment regimen.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
