What Causes Diarrhea And Painful Urination After Taking Cipro And Flagyl?
Hi I had a question regarding my husband if you could help. He had a diviticulitus attach last week. He was told to take Magneseium situate, and was put on cipro and flagyl for a week. He started to get diarrhea and painful urination. He has taken a urinalysis and it came back negative. He has also taken a stool sample; but don t have the results back yet. His pain in the bladder is excruciating and he is very aggravated because he doesn t know what it is. He is 50 years old. I was wondering what do you think it could be and what he should do as far as go to the ER? Not sure if they could help his pain; and what they could do for him. Thank you very much. Michelle

no such reason is explored .it may be drug sensitivity can stop taking the drug and take alcasol and sufficient water urine can be examined and if requered culture sensitivity can be done.
