What Causes Diarrhea And Rash All Over The Body After Vaccination?

I have a 22 month old son , he started having diariaha two days ago and now within an hour he has broken out in a rash all over his body, belly, arms, legs, feet, I don t notice a fever but has really rosycheeks, could this be a side effect of his recent vaccines

Welcome to HCM!

The rash and diarrhea your son is experiencing could be the reaction to the vaccine (for example MMR vaccine), but also your son may be affected by a viral condition like flu or gastric flu that may not be related to the vaccine.

Anyway if it is a reaction to the vaccine there is no need for treatment. The rash will go away within a few days, it's not contagious or harmful. Just give your son a lot of juices, or mineral salts supplements to replace the water and minerals lost with the diarrhea.
