What Causes Diarrhea And Vomiting After Taking Doxycycline?

I have been on doxycilin for 5 days.... suddenly had diahrea, feeling of vomiting, sweats, skin pale..... really felt like the flu...... had two episodes. So, do I stop my Doxy? I have allergies to penicillin, erythromycin, keflex.... sulpha........

Hi,

This is not a known side effect of doxycycline. I will suggest that you drink much water and observe only at this time. This should resolve spontaneous and if not, you should seek a doctor's consultation.
