Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 15 month old is having diarrhea for 11 days aprx.3-4 times a day on the 11th day she started vomiting 13 times per day I gave her 1 dose of enterogermina the same day she began pooping like rotting egg it even looks like beaten raw egg I gave her the enterogermina to drink straight out of the tube is that ok please tell me what to do
You should send to the pediatrician as soon as possible to prevent dehydration. He might need intravenous fluid replacement therapy.
His gastroenteritis (diarrhea and vomiting) won't get away that easily. So you need to get a few tests such as stool examination, fecal culture, and sensitivity testing.
So, should see the pediatrician as soon as possible. Or at least send to ER.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
