What Causes Diarrhea And Vomiting?

I have had diarrhea and vomited about once daily since 12/22 yet it has been somewhat intermittent, not vomited every day. Went to MedPoint and they thought had flu. Prescribed Immodium and a anti nausea medication. Yesterday, stool was better (a little loose but not watery) did not throw up. Today, have not had a bowel movement and just threw up again. The throwing up is however not excessive, it is involuntary and I just feel a watering in my mouth and a little bit comes out. No fever and feel fine. Is this a flu? or possibly ulcer? Do you think an antibiotic would help?

once infectious pathology has been ruled out there is no role of antibiotics in the treatment of diarrhoea and vomiting. you are supposed to run routine blood analysis as soon as urine analysis. get well soon.
it may be a case of Gastro enteritis.
