What Causes Diarrhea Despite Giving Metodine-DF And Gentamicin Shot To An Infant?
Hi doctor,my baby is 10months and has suffered from diarreahia for 3weeks now with 9-10 motions. He suffered malaria previously and.treatment administered plus zinkid and orals. Now hear came cough then i gave him bactoclav syrup which worsened his motions,i have stopped giving him then to metodine df and inj genta to reduce.diarreahia. doctor help me bse my child is loosing weight bse of diarreahia its now 3weeks i dont no.the cause and.right treatment
After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that after 3 weeks of diarrhoea your child will be having electrolyte imbalance with many more complication of diarrhoea like dehydration, cramps, cough and all. At this point you need to consult a pediatrician and your child might require hospitalisation.
Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
Kind Regards Dr Bhanu Partap
