What Causes Diarrhea Every Time After Having Food?
I suffer from diarrehia everytime I eat this has been going on for about a year now I ve had a colonostipy and a MRI with now results along with the diarrehia i,ve lost alot of weight and after i get sick I feel shaky like im going to faint. I ve tried glutton free No results I ve tried Probotics No results
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of diarrhea after having food for the last one year. Lost weight, feel shaky as if going to faint. No results with gluten free diet. Colonoscopy and MRI done. The causes of having to have diarrhea are: Inflammation in the intestines or any structure abutting intestines like lymph node mass or so. Appendicitis. If all the investigations are normal, this can be due to Irritable bowel syndrome. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Tests of stool, blood and urine. Colonoscopy and MRI already done. MRI is not a good investigations for the intestines , hence I would advise you to go for contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen and if all the investigations are normal follow the treatment on the lines of IBS. Control of stress and/or anxiety are very important.
