What Causes Diarrhea In A Breastfed Baby?

Hi Doctor, My baby is 6 month old. He is suffering from stool problem from 3 to 4 days after each breast feeding or formula feeding. As per the advise from a pediatrician, i am giving him Bacillus clausii spores suspension Enterogermina oral suspension , but there is no imptovement showing in his condition... Is there any better solution for him? Is it ok if i will give him xymex drop? I need immidiate solution.. My baby is not showing intrest in formula feeding... what should i give him to eat.

Hello,

Please check your baby is having lactose intolerence or infection of stomach or food intolerence etc.

Treatment depends upon the diagnosis. No need to give digestive enzymes until he is a deficiency of digestive enzymes. You may continue enterogermina tubes twice a day for five days.

Give them one hour before or one hour after antibiotic. If symptoms not improved please consult your pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
