What Causes Diarrhea While On Ciprofloxacin?
My 13 year old son took ciprofloxacin for a sinus infection. He finished his last dose September 9. He experienced diarrhea that day even after eating breakfast with yogurt. He had it again, that following Tuesday and then yesterday and this morning again.

This is side effect of ciprofloxacin and commonly seen as part of antibiotic induced diarrhea. If antibiotic can be stopped this would be best solution and if not,then you should take probiotics,more fluids and in severe cases metronidazole should be added in therapy.
