What Causes Diarrhea While On Keppra For Abnormalities On ECG?

Hi! I am being and advocate for my father who is an alcoholic. He has had two Tonic-clonic seizures from randomly abstaining from drinking on two separate occasions, but now has been sober for a bit and on the medication Keppra because of abnormalities on his EEG. He has been experiencing diarrhea 6-7 times a day for a few weeks now. Should I contact his doctor? I m worried he ll become dehydrated.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history of seizure then it has to be ruled out for late onset of epilepsy, alcoholic withdrawal syndrome, convulsive disorders due to cerebral pathology, better to consult the doctor and discus this hope this information helps.
