What Causes Diarrhea While On Prevacid?

I have been taking over the counter Prevacid for four months. The past two weeks I started to experience diarreha, very watery stools, not bloody. I see that it is a side effect of taking Prevacid. I have stopped the medication. Should the diarreha stop on it own or do I need to do something else Thank You YYYY@YYYY

If the exact cause was Prevacid then it should subside gradually within several days. Otherwise,you should rule out some other causes of chronic diarrhea such as parasite infection or IBS. You should also have easier diet,probiotics,high fibre food, and drink plenty of fluids.
