What Causes Diarrhea,nausea And Abdominal Pain Post Childbirth?

It has been 6 1/2 weeks since my C-Section. On Wednesday at 3pm I started getting abdominal pain. After about an hour it continued and also started with sharp pains on the right hand lower side of my stomach. It became even more intense as the night went on. I couldn t even lay down. About 10:30 I went to the bathroom and it alleviated enough pain to lay down in pain. It continued through the night. I took tums, a natural laxative, nothing helped. I m BF so I have to be careful. Today I m still in a lot of pain. I took Milk of Magnesia about 2pm today. It has given me diarrhea but the pain has not subsided. I had cold chills yesterday and today. I felt nauseous as well. Do you think this is gas still from my C-Section or something more. It hurts a lot and I take pain pretty well. I never felt anything like this after my C-Section.

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that you are most likely experiencing acute abdomen and needs a proper treatment with antibiotics as you are having fever spells too. Kindly get CBC, LFT, Widal test and KFT done and consult with reports.
