For over a month now, I often wake up suddenly from a sound sleep with (extreme) rapid heart beats and feel completely exhausted. 5 months ago I had and EKG??/Ultra Sound.. and was diagnosed with Diastolic Dysfunctuntion. Lately I feel the need to gasp for air and feel that I do not get enough and along with this I feel tired all the time. This week I have started a new regime of walking 2 miles a day slowly 3x a week on the tred mill. I do not drive so I walk regularly every day and try to eat better. I am aslo a diabetic and have high cholesterol and blood pressure. Any info would be helpful. Thank you. Patricia
