What Causes Difference In BP Levels In The Arms While Having Coronary Heart Disease?

My sister has a corenary heart disease. She had a heart attack when she was in her early40 s. She is 55 right now. She went to a cardiogist today and her blood pressure was different in each arm. 130/68 in her left arm and 68/20 in her right arm. What is this a sign of?

Hi.

There are different causes to this but in your sisters case it should be due to a condition called atherosclerosis which is the clogging of arteries. So the level or degree of the arteries being clogged must be different on each side which explains the variation in blood pressure.
