What Causes Difference In Fetal And Gestational Age?

Hi Doc, Im 7 weeks pregnant according to my LMP. But yesterday scan showed 5 week 6 days with 2.1cm. No fetal pole. It was external scan. Doc said sac is in good shape come back after 2 weeks for chexking heartbeat. Please can you guide me Im confused.

Hi I think sometimes there is delayed implantation due to delayed ovulation leading to discrepancies in gestation age by last period date and ultrasound. So, don't worry about it. Get a scan done after 2 weeks to confirm the pregnancy. Hope it helps.
