What Causes Difference In Sizes Of Unborn Baby S Brain Ventricles?
Hello, I am at 20 weeks and just had an ultrasound with by baby s brain ventricles being at 9.8mm and 1mm. I am very concerned about 1. the fact that 9.8mm is so close to the 10mm norm limit ; 2. 1mm being sooo small and 3. having such a huge difference between the two....how worried should I be? I am scheduled for an Ultrasound II. Thank you
since you mentioned you are at 20 weeks and finding the difference between the size of the ventricles I will recommend you to wait and keep calm.
The normal physiological and development of the tissue is formed on its own. May be you are finding in the Ultrasound scan that there is difference in the size of ventricles it can be a physiological growth of the tissue. Usually there may be chances were technology may not have accuracy at all times. Getting check done will be of help again. Also you need not have to get worried as worrying more will lead to stress and it is not good for the child and it's development.
you can try doing regular breathing exercises and also meditation at this stage . which will help the development of the child to the best.
with the grace of God I wish you a good health.
