General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Stomach pain , heartburn and related issues can be due to gastritis. For such case if you were my patient i would advise proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole for 1 to 2 weeks and life style modifications. You should have small meals at short intervals. Avoid fatty , greasy and fried foods. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Avoid food just before bed time. Take food 2 hours before bed time. Carbonated drinks also should be avoided. Sinus problems should be treated by consulting an ENT specialist. Taking vitamin c in chewable form regularly is helpful in preventing recurrent sinusitis also. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
